Solar
In 2018 we invested in solar for our home. We have 41 panels that provide electric to our home, cars, and the grid. It has been a great experience and we have not had to pay for power since its install here in Colorado, except for our connection fee with Xcel. The system has not had any down times and have provided all the electric for in town driving and home electric use. If fact year over year we have produced more power that we have used producing a bank of power to use when the sun is not shining.
Powerwall
We were early adopters of solar the Powerwall install at that time would have delayed our install so we did not not adopt. Now that the 3rd version the Powerwall's are out, and readily available, we are reconsidering.
Update .... with the addition of the CyberTruck and its advanced 2 way technology built in, along with a Powershare for home, you can backup home power from the truck in case of an outage.
